Psychological therapy for children and adolescents is often useful where young people are feeling worried, unhappy, having unhelpful thoughts or behaving in a way that causes them harm.

Often the behaviour of young people can cause a great deal of concern for those around them. Sometimes children and young people need some support to help with adjusting to changes in their lives, like divorce or separation or serious ill health.

We have child friendly rooms equipped with toys and games. We use approaches appropriate to the young person's developmental level to help children and young people build on strengths and so devise strategies and skills for coping at home and at school.

According to individual need and the age of the child or young person, we like to involve parents and other family members where appropriate.
